Aurora Projects was appointed in 2009 as a specialist consultant to undertake preparation of a Project Brief for a 55,000m2 research project dealing with the treatment of obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease to be built on the University of Sydney Campus.

Aurora Projects prepared an overarching brief that provided an explanation of the project and included the mission, vision, strategic directions; planned outcomes; agreed business plan, research model and a list of departments to be accommodated in the new facility. Interaction of the departments, the funding model; the research plan, possible changes to future grant processes; identification of new/emerging policies and the projects facility design aspirations were also addressed.  This brief has underpinned the development of all project planning.

Aurora Projects has been retained by the University of Sydney to provide a specialist design and project peer review service.
