Aurora Projects was engaged during 2008 to develop a strategic framework for the future development of Springfield Health City. The purpose of the strategy was to provide greater definition of the service staging at Springfield Health City, and in particular the services to be provided in the first stage and the estimated facility requirements.
Greater Springfield is the largest master planned community in Australia. It comprises 2,860 hectares, and will include significant investment in state of the art health, education, technology and community infrastructure
The strategic framework developed by Aurora Projects for Springfield Health City identified three core stages for service development across two development stages.
Sydney West Area Health Service appointed Aurora Projects during 2009 to undertake a strategic site options study to analyse the opportunities for future growth of the health campus.
The masterplan develops facility options for Mt Isa Hospital to meet the anticipated models of care and long term service needs that included staging strategies.
