Mt Isa Health Service Master Plan Report, Qld

Aurora Projects was commissioned by Queensland Health – Northern Area Health Service in mid 2007 to undertake a review of existing facilities and health services and to develop a masterplan to guide future growth of the Mt Isa Hospital site.

The masterplan critically evaluated the adequacy of existing facilities in Mt Isa with respect to the functionality/capacity and made recommendations regarding the reconfiguration of health services in line with future service projections developed in the Clinical Service Plan.

The masterplan developed facility options for Mt Isa Hospital reflecting anticipated models of care and long term service needs in a staged strategy.
